About G&G Mining Fabrication

At G&G Mining Fabrication we pride ourselves on our exceptional commitment to detail. We go out of our way to ask you about your mining operation; your ore body, mining methods, maintenance schedules and future plans. Only by asking these questions can we ensure your equipment will not only suit the individual needs of your operation, but will stand the test of time.

We don’t just produce new equipment – our workshop also handles a large volume of refurbishments, conversions and modifications to existing equipment.

All our work is strictly designed and carried out to Australian Standards and meets all Safe Working Loads (SWL) criteria, so you can be assured of the highest quality result.

Welding

G&G Mining Fabrication is a well established business; however we aim to stay on a path of continuous improvement.

  1. As members of WTIA (Welding Technology Institute of Australia) we are constantly improving our assembly and welding procedures, to produce a better end product.
  2. We have procedures in place to ensure all welding is carried out to Australian Standards AS/NZS 1554 Pt.1 and AS/NZS 1554 Pt.4 and is designed to meet the engineering specifications.

Safety

We are mindful that customers feel more comfortable dealing with suppliers who are safety orientated. Our safety policies, procedures and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) are on a continuous improvement plan. Our safety procedures are driven by our safety committee and safety officer.

All safety items that are manufactured for our clients such as hand rails, ladders, stairs, etc, are designed to meet Australian Standards.

Quality Assurance

We believe that a quality system should be in place to further ensure that we produce quality products. This in turn assists our clients to achieve their own goals.

In developing our Quality Assurance (QA) systems we take into consideration the following:

  1. The need to meet our customer’s preferred delivery time.
  2. Quality gates, to ensure workmanship inspections are carried out.
  3. Control procedures to ensure all tasks are carried out automatically with the minimum of fuss and to produce maximum results.
  4. Our QA procedures are to Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO9001 for design and product development and manufacturing. Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 3834-2 4.2 for contracts.
